Saturday, November 14th, 2009Service Area
Saturday, November 7th, 2009We often get asked “What area do you cover?” The short answer is “We can arrange for aerial photography just about anywhere through our nationwide network of Professional Aerial Photographers.” Personally, the real answer is we fly about 1 hour in any direction from Huntsville. Vertical Images in Google Earth
Thursday, October 8th, 2009People often make comments about Google Earth hurting the market for aerial photography. I see just the opposite. Google Earth, Google Maps, Bing and the likes have helped bring aerial photography to mainstream recognition as a valuable tool for business. Clients often complain about the low-resolution and dated nature of Google images. We can update specific areas of interest but still deliver the product in a Google Earth format that clients are familiar with and enjoy using.
For an example, if you have Google Earth installed, load the following file:
Magna Carta
Turn the layer on and off in Temporary Places or drag the transparency slider to see the update.

Construction Progress Photography Award Winner
Saturday, February 14th, 2009At the annual Professional Aerial Photographers Association conference in Tampa, a print competition was held. Judges were highly esteemed photographers from within our organization. I was honored to receive the top award in the Construction Progress category by receiving the highest number of points for my entry. The entries this year were outstanding so I am quite honored and humbled by this Judges Choice award.
Professional Aerial Photographers Association Conference, Feb 5-7, Tampa FL
Saturday, February 14th, 2009The annual Professional Aerial Photographers Association (PAPA) conference was held Feb 5-7 in Tampa, FL. The presentations and speakers were outstanding. As usual, a lot of useful information is discussed in the seminars, at the dinners and in the bar. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. This 400-member organization has been central to our success at SellersPhoto. Marty has been elected to a 2-year term on the Board of Directors of PAPA representing those members in the Central timezone region of the US.
